An electrician needs a well-equipped van to carry around all the tools, spares and materials he needs to work away from base. Small to medium size vans are often preferred as they are easy to park and manoeuvre on construction sites where other commercial vehicles are constantly on the move and are easy to drive on narrow roads and in heavy traffic too.
The photos shown above illustrate a Citroen Berlingo that Syncro System fitted out for an electrician. The Berlingo features an average-size cargo compartment that is more than adequate for the needs of this customer.
As you can see from the equally spaced holes in the side panels, this system has been constructed using Syncro Ultra racking. Only the left side wall has been used, the right side of the van and the centre of the floor being left free to create a spacious corridor for access and for carrying bulky items of cargo.
Even when racking installations are confined to just one side wall, the Syncro team still takes the greatest care over design and installation.
Before starting to install the agreed racking configuration, the team protected the floor of this Berlingo with a marble-look plywood floor liner. Syncro floor liners come ready cut for each model of van, so a perfect fit is guaranteed, enabling the liner to offer maximum protection against scratches and dents. Metal cups are fitted over the original floor anchor rings to keep them fully functional once the liner is in place.
The racking on the left side of this electrician’s Berlingo consists of:
