Protecting your van’s bodywork is the starting point of an extended working life. Without a proper liner, the floor is uneven, weak and easily susceptible to damage. Unprotected walls and doors quickly become covered in dents and scratches too.

The floor of this Berlingo is covered with a marble-look plywood floor liner with stainless-steel cups for the original anchor rings and stainless-steel profiles to protect the exposed edges of the plywood against moisture and dirt.

The walls and doors are lined with super-strong steel panelling.

The Berlingo is a small van, so any racking solution must take up a minimum of space while being as functional as possible.

In this case the left the of the van has been fitted only with a mix of shelves, some large and some small, for carrying frequently used parts and tools.

The two floor-level compartments have been left open. The central section of the racking is divided vertically into two configurable shelves with non-slip mats, internal space dividers and raised rear panels. Above these are two full-length shelves, the top one of reduced depth.

Two accessories are fixed to the racking’s rear-facing side panel: a paper roll holder, one of the best-selling accessories in the Syncro range, and an indispensable first aid kit.

Two cleaning accessories are fixed to the left rear door: a handwash kit with water tank with tap and a liquid soap dispenser with dedicated holder.

The floor-level compartment over the wheel arch is delimited by a bottom profile but otherwise left open ready for use with hook and strap lashing systems that can be attached neatly to the holes in the side panels.

Then there are two configurable shelves, including one at the top, with similar characteristics to those on the left of the van.

Also on this side are two metal drawers with automatic latching mechanisms and an open shelf specially equipped to accommodate four removable plastic containers.

The rear-facing side panel of this racking column is equipped with a fold-away vice bench with built-in support and a metal vice. A vice bench is essential in a small vehicle because, once extended, it provides a solid, practical surface for performing minor repairs and adjustments.
