The Custom illustrated in the photos on this page is owned by a company that provides technical assistance for pneumatic, electronic and hydraulic tools and equipment. Other racking solutions for the Custom

The Custom’s liners: tough, protective and attractive too

Only the floor and bulkhead of this Custom are fitted with liners as both side walls are protected by racking.

The material used for both surfaces is plywood with a marble-look surface.

The technique used to install Syncro floor liners is special. Spacers are laid in the recesses of the floor to even out load distribution, reduce sagging and increase the strength of finished floor. The panels covering the bulkhead behind the cab are arranged to follow the contours of the surface and provide an excellent base for attaching accessories.

Other lining solutions for the Custom

Generous storage on the left of the Custom

Syncro racking lets you create super-functional and well-equipped configurations even in small vans! On the left of this Custom L1 H1 we have:

  • a floor-level compartment delimited by a bottom profile and equipped with metal racks for plastic jerry cans of oil and fuel
  • two case compartments with lashing straps, one on the floor, the other on the first shelf up
  • five metal drawers with non-slip mats and internal dividers
  • two configurable shelves at the top, complete with raised rear panels to stop things falling down behind

More storage plus a work bench on the right of the Custom

The space on the right of the Custom is limited by the presence of the sliding door. It has nevertheless been configured to provide storage, with a floor-level compartment delimited by a patented lift-and-rotate door, four large drawers in the middle and a shelf at the top, and to serve as a work area.

How can you get a work bench when there’s no space for one?

By fitting a vice bench, in this case a fold-away model. This useful accessory has a small footprint when closed but folds down in just a few seconds to form a sturdy workbench for vice work or small jobs.

How many accessories can you get into a small van?

The flexibility with which Syncro accessories can be located lets you find space even where it would seem impossible!

Accessories can be installed on the racking side panels, the liner panels, the walls and doors, and even in compartments inside the racking. In this Custom, for example, we have:

  • on the left: a paper roll holder, a Scrubs wipes holder and a fire extinguisher bracket on the rear-facing racking side panel and two plastic jerry cans in dedicated racks in the rear floor-level compartment
  • on the right: a bar rack with flange and lashing strap and a first aid kit on the side panel near the side door and a metal pocket located behind the vice bench
  • on the bulkhead: a Syncroblock bar with hooks and lashing strap about one third of the way up, and a second, smaller lashing strap at the bottom right
  • under the roof: an LED tube light to ensure even lighting throughout the cargo compartment
