After years of absence from the commercial vehicle market, Japanese manufacturer Toyota is finally offering a new van, with an own-brand version of the popular vehicle also sold as the Citroen Jumpy and Peugeot Expert.
The Toyota ProAce differs from the other two in the front styling and little else, as indeed is also the case with the other two models.
This means the new ProAce is a medium size van with a generous load compartment compared to the standards of the market and all the equipment we have come to expect from a modern van.
The brand new ProAce, introduced in 2016, can be purchased in three lengths: Compact, Standard and Long.
The chassis is completely new though the overall lines of the van differ little from those of second series vehicles. The load compartment is therefore large for the van's external dimensions and square in shape. An overall height of only 1.9 metres means the new ProAce can easily enter garages and other places where headroom is limited.
The Syncro Group supplies a complete range of liners for the load compartment of the Toyota ProAce, including plywood or aluminium floor liners, painted steel, aluminium or honeycomb plastic wall liners, steel and plywood or steel and aluminium wheel arch covers, plywood and aluminium tread plate bulkhead liners. Syncro’s strong but lightweight liners are made on high precision CNC machines, and follow the shape of the bodywork to perfection. And because they come cut to size and pre-drilled, installation takes only a few minutes.
To meet the professional needs of all users, the Syncro Group produces a wide range of modular storage units for the load compartment of the Toyota ProAce. The Syncro catalogue includes shelves, wheel arch cabinets, drawers, containers, cases, work benches and more besides. And modular design means maximum flexibility in addition to industrial quality.
The load compartment of the Toyota ProAce shown here is protected by a plywood floor liner, plastic wall liners and a plywood bulkhead liner.
The racking on the left side wall consists of a wheel arch cabinet with a parallelogram action door, metal drawers with automatic locking and ball bearing mounted runners and a shelf at the top.
The right side is equipped with a series of metal cabinets holding transparent containers: a practical solution of limited depth that leaves plenty of free space in the middle of the floor.
Syncro loading ramps let you load and unload all kinds of cargo and equipment to and from your ProAce. Load capacities vary from 200 kg to 1800 kg for the fixed and removable versions.
To exploit space on the roof of the ProAce, Syncro offers a range of modular steel and aluminium roof bars, roof racks and ladder racks that can be customised to meet all customer needs.
