UPFIT OF THE FORD CONNECT L2 H2 WITH DRAWER UNITS, SHELVING AND VICE UNITS

How to upfit your Ford Connect for transporting material, parts and mobile workshop.

MAKE THE VERY MOST OF THE CARGO SPACE IN YOUR FORD CONNECT

The Ford Connect , for some time has been the small-sized van of choice for many craftspeople, trade workers and business owners, both for the transport of goods and materials and for upfitting with Syncro brand modules and accessories, transforming it into a small but highly efficient mobile workshop.

The photos on this page show the larger-capacity version of the Connect with high roof and long wheelbase. To optimize the use of the available volume, we installed 3 sets of drawer units under the floor panel, totaling five large drawers all opening and closing smoothly due to the ball bearing glides and all employing the characteristic Syncro automatic locking system.

Above the drawer modules, we installed the floor panel made of durable coated 12 mm plywood. The plywood utilized is durable, lightweight and resistant and complete with the extra protection of steel borders along the lengths where the van doors are.
On top of the floor panel, the client wanted to install a vertical shelving module. At the base, we installed two wheel arch frames, one with a hinged door (turning it into useful storage space) while the other remained open - completed with the Syncro carrying case storage and locking system.
Above that, we mounted a single shelf with gas-activate spring door, anti-slip mats and aluminum dividers. At the very top of the left side is a long thin metal shelf with raised sides and hinged front locking flap which can be used to place long or bulky items in.

Very often, commercial van users find it useful to have a folding workbench with vice for necessary quick assembly and maintenance on the job. The uplift of this Ford Connect is enhanced with a folding down workbench and 110 mm steel vice with swivel base and built-in pipe grips. The right side of the cargo area was left free.

Thanks to the versatility and detailed-thinking of the Syncro System, those who use the Ford Connect upfitted by the Syncro System group will be able to transport a huge amount of equipment -- both small (tools, spare parts, fittings) and large materials, as well as bulky equipment – your upfit will adapt easily to accomodate your changing needs.
