Liners on all surfaces for an extended life
As usual, Syncro System protected the interior of the van with robust liners before installing the racking as such. Liners are essential if you wish to preserve your van’s delicate sheet metal body panels against dents, scratches, corrosion and liquid spillages.
In this Renault Express, the walls and doors are completely lined with tough steel panels. The surface that covers the underfloor drawer system is made from a robust plywood floor liner with a marble-look surface and protective profiles on all exposed edges.
Long underfloor drawers for the Express
Syncro’s raised walkable floor is supported by the metal framework of a long drawer unit containing three drawers, one full-height and two half-height. All three can be opened by means of a button in the handle which releases the automatic latching mechanism of these exclusive products. All three can also be pulled out to their full length thanks to ball-bearing runners, providing easy access even to contents at the back of the drawer! The drawers reach into the van as far as the side door. The space forward of this point is occupied by an open shelf that can be accessed from the side door.
Syncro racking: customised to suit available space
The raised floors installed by Syncro are walkable and strong enough to support racking and cargo.
Two columns of racking have been installed in this electrician’s Express.
- On the left is a column comprising a small floor-level compartment, four pull-out trays containing Syncro’s metal cases and a top shelf.
- On the right are two of Syncro’s compact, patented Multibox cabinets. The bottom cabinet contains three large, removable, tilting transparent containers with internal dividers while the top cabinet contains six smaller ones.
Both columns of racking use side panels of different depth to follow the contours of the van’s bodywork. This leaves the front of the racking perfectly vertical, allowing the user to make full use of the remaining space!
Accessories help meet the user’s needs too
A small van can be fitted with just as many if not more accessories than a larger vehicle.
Accessories can make use of spaces that would otherwise be neglected.
This Renault Express L1 H1 is fitted with:
- a length of Syncroblock bar on the left wall, complete with a set of sliding attachments and straps
- a cable holder on the same wall
- a customised Syncroblock bar on the bulkhead: to make this bar as long as possible and to ensure secure attachment points for cargo and equipment, the bar has been bent to follow the contours of the bulkhead
