Extendable top trays have edges of 80 or 100 mm in height and are 216, 260 or 310 mm in depth. They feature a fold-down door at one end for loading and unloading long objects like pipes and cable channels. Given the nature of the materials they generally hold, top trays do not come with mats or space dividers. They are always installed at the top of racking columns. Top trays vary in length from 1,014 to 4,056 mm to fit all models of van, from the smallest to the largest.
Trays for transporting liquids are the only type of Syncro shelf made entirely from stainless steel instead of high-strength steel. They are sealed by welds at all four corners to permit the transport of cans or bins of oil, fuel or detergent and to prevent leaks or spillages from soiling or damaging the van’s bodywork or other cargo. These stainless-steel trays are extremely easy to install and to remove for emptying and cleaning. They fit between two side panels and their front tabs can be held in place by screws or knobs using standard holes. Liquid containers carried in the trays can be held in place by straps or other retaining systems. Liquid transport trays come in different sizes: widths range from 507 to 1,521 mm and depth is 310, 360 or 410 mm.
Syncro now offers special spray can and silicone cartridge racks for installation on shelves. These racks can be installed in place of metal space dividers on shelves of 310, 360 and 410 mm in depth. Depending in the shelf size, the racks can hold:
Multiple racks of both kinds can be installed one alongside the other on the same shelf, until the shelf is full. Longer shelves can carry up to 12 racks. This means that in largest shelf in the Syncro catalogue, which measures 1,521 x 410 mm, can carry a maximum of 60 spray cans or 72 silicone cartridges!
9 mm thick marble-look plywood tops can be applied to high-strength steel shelves to carry cases or other material. The tops reinforce the shelves and improve their appearance. Plywood shelf tops come in widths of 253 to 521 mm and in depths of 210, 360 or 410 mm.
Ultra shelves with non-slip mats and dividers can be installed at any height between two side panels and above or below any other horizontal element, including:
Extendable top trays can be installed above any horizontal element, but always need to be at the top of columns of racking. Trays for transporting liquids are normally installed at floor level and therefore occupy the lowest position in a column of racking.
