CASE TRANSPORT SYSTEMS

CARRYING CASES IN YOUR VAN

Cases play a major role in the work of most van users. They can contain power tools, spare parts, fasteners, samples or virtually any kind of small object. No matter how they are used, you can be certain that cases make life so much easier, especially if you work on construction sites or at your customers’ premises.

Knowing how useful cases are, Syncro System has developed a number of ways to carry them in your van safely and securely: If you need to carry a large number of cases, especially if your cases vary in shape and size, the safest way to transport them is probably in a case compartment with an automatic shuttle or a strap retaining system.

SHUTTLE-TYPE CASE COMPARTMENTS

Shuttle-type case compartments consist of an open compartment and a shuttle kit. This in turn consists of a rail installed at the top of the compartment, a sliding shuttle and an end plate to support the other end of the cases. The shuttle slides freely only in one direction and automatically locks in place when it comes into contact with the cases. A knob at the back lets you reduce or increase pressure on the cases. A lever releases the shuttle and allows you to remove the load. Case shuttle kits are available for compartments between 760 and 1,521 mm in width.

STRAP-TYPE CASE COMPARTMENTS

Any open compartment can be transformed into a strap-type case compartment simply by adding a kit comprising an aluminium bar for fixing to the van’s bodywork, a sliding attachment, a pair of straps and an end panel. The straps can be adjusted in length to suit any load and, once tightened, can hold even a large number of cases firmly in place. A quick release system lets you remove cases in next to no time. Bar and strap kits can be fitted to compartments between 507 and 1,521 mm in width.

COMBINING ULTRA CASE COMPARTMENTS

Ultra shuttle and strap type case compartments can be positioned at any height between two side panels. For practical reasons and to make use of otherwise awkward spaces, case compartments are generally located at floor level. You are nevertheless free to install them wherever you wish. They can be located above or below any other horizontal element, including:
