After years of absence from the European commercial vehicle market, Japanese manufacturer Toyota is offering a new, medium van. The ProAce is made in collaboration with Peugeot and Citroen.
All the vans on the market today have one critical weakness: the absence or poor quality of protective linings expose the bodywork to impact damage if cargo is not properly secured and is free to slide around or fall during transport. Cargo can also damage unprotected body panels during loading and unloading.
Impacts inevitably result in dents and scratches which not only spoil the appearance of the van but also lead to the formation of rust, sometimes impeding normal use.
Van floors suffer from the same criticality: they are not made to withstand concentrated heavy loads or resist impacts and, because they are not perfectly flat, can make loading and unloading tricky.
To solve these problems, the Syncro Group offers a vast and diversified range of floor, bodywork, bulkhead, and wheel arch liners for the Toyota ProAce.
ProAce
floor liners are available in 12 mm thick plywood with a surface in marble-look resin or rubber and metal cups for load anchors recessed in the liner to avoid interfering with the movement of cargo. Syncro plywood floor liners also have non-slip steel edging at the doors. Aluminium tread
plate liners are available for the Toyota ProAce too.
As well as protecting the original floor against dents and scratches, Syncro liners also create a perfectly flat surface and provide the perfect anchorage for racking.
Syncro offers a complete range of bodywork liners for the ProAce, in electro-galvanised and painted steel, aluminium or honeycomb polypropylene. These different materials satisfy different needs, depending on whether the customer prioritises mechanical strength or reduced weight.
Aluminium tread plate and 12 mm resin-coated plywood liners are also available to protect the bulkhead that separates the cargo compartment of the ProAce from the cab.
Even the wheel arches can be protected. Syncro supplies wheel arch liners with a galvanised steel structure and plywood or aluminium chequer plate side panels.
All Syncro liners for the ProAce are cut to size on high precision CNC machines and pre-drilled, so installation takes very little time indeed.
In addition to protecting the floor, walls and doors of the cargo compartment against impact damage, Syncro liners also give your van a more attractive, professional appearance and are ideal for fixing racking modules and accessories.
