A new product for holding tools and other small objects has been added to the already vast range of accessories for use with Syncro System slider bars. Syncro’s new neodymium magnets come in two versions, round and rectangular, complete with stainless steel mounting plates and fasteners.
Where to use magnets inside your van
Syncro Neodymium magnets can be mounted on slider bars and fixed to wall lining panels or to the racking itself. Alternatively, the magnets can be attached directly to racking side panels using the square holes typical of Ultra racking.
How Syncro neodymium magnets work
These new magnets consist of a stainless steel mounting plate and a magnet made from an alloy of neodymium, a chemical element in the lanthanide series. The presence of this element allows these magnets to generate an incredibly strong force of attraction, while the steel mounting plate helps channel the magnetism to the centre.
These features make Syncro System neodymium magnets unbeatable for holding tools and other metal objects securely in place.
Types of neodymium magnets
Thanks to the amazing force generated by neodymium, these magnets need to be only a few centimetres in size to attract and hold far heavier objects. In particular, the round version produces a force of 30 kg, while the rectangular produces a force of 37 kg.
Other retaining accessories for use with magnets
Syncro bars can be used to mount not just magnets but fixed or swivelling hooks, straps, plastic clips, universal clamps and adjustable sliding hooks. The bars have a broad channel at the front for mounting the retaining accessories and a narrower channel at the back for use in attaching them to the racking.
