Syncro System will set various records in 2025 as it begins its journey to platinum status. Syncro is now celebrating the 65th anniversary of the foundation of Francesco Comunello’s single shareholder company, the business from which Syncro derives.
The journey from 1960 to the present has been long and full of unexpected events, new directions and courageous choices. Commitment, passion and resilience have never been lacking. These qualities have been needed to survive economic transformations, dramatic changes in the market and production technology, global crises and, more recently, rapidly rising costs and increasing shortages of raw materials. The recent sharp drop in the availability of commercial vehicles – the target for all Syncro products – has been the most difficult obstacle in many years of business, equalled perhaps only by the great financial crisis of 2008–2011.
Luca Comunello, President of our company, describes the situation today. “Having survived a truly black period, with a pandemic followed by a war and a global economic crisis that has made raw materials virtually unavailable, we have finally returned to the sort of continuous, secure and sustainable growth that has always characterised us.”
The Vicenza Chamber of Commerce issued the first business licence to Francesco Comunello on 7 April 1960.
In 2025 our company will achieve the following:
Syncro System believes in sustainable innovation and always has plans in the pipeline to improve products, expand the offering and raise the bar not only in production technology but in logistics and warehouse management too.
As Luca Comunello explains, “Syncro has a clear vision: to improve on a daily basis, to continue building on a solid base, and to focus on sustainability in everything we do”.
Can growth be sustainable? Syncro System’s commitment to sustainability is solid.
Economic sustainability is clearly demonstrated by our company’s balance sheets while social sustainability is reflected by a growing workforce and deeper links with the local area.
From an environmental point of view, in recent years Syncro System has invested heavily in reducing its impact and its use of non-renewable resources. One example is our photovoltaic plant, which was expanded to 1,361 panels in 2024 to produce a total of 450 kWp. The plant generates 500 kWh of energy, reducing CO2 equivalent emissions by 250,000 tons per year.
Further developments are planned for 2025: in August our paint plant will be replaced by an energy-saving Industry 5.0 system and even more photovoltaic panels will be added to the existing installation.
“We don’t just want to celebrate the past,” concludes Luca Comunello, “but to lay solid foundations for the future. My thanks go to all those who have made this journey possible and to all those whose commitment and trust is continuing to write the history of Syncro System. So full ahead! The best is yet to come!”
