With a one-page entry in the Gazzettino newspaper, the “I Bambini delle Fate” foundation has expressed its thanks to all the companies – Syncro System included – who contribute a fixed percentage of their turnover every month to support the charity’s projects. Thanks in no small part to Syncro’s long-term commitment, the F.A.R.C.E.L.A. local association has been able to launch a new project for adults with disabilities.
The project, called “Successful Adulthood” foresees a series of activities for around thirty young men and women. Activities range from experiencing life away from home to making autonomous decisions concerning leisure activities, personal care and housekeeping.
Syncro’s collaboration with and support for the foundation set up by Franco Antonello dates back over ten years. “I Bambini delle Fate” was formed in 2005 to help fund social inclusion projects and courses for children and youngsters with autism or other disabilities, run by associations and service companies.
Syncro System joined the charity’s funding scheme in 2012, agreeing to sign a contract of long-term collaboration rather than just giving a one-off donation. This method of funding ensures that projects remain sustainable over the long term.
Syncro and the other 36 companies that adhere to the scheme help fund the work of the F.A.R.C.E.L.A. association in the province of Treviso.
In addition to paying for the professional assistance needed to make the young people independent in their decisions and actions, the funds collected through the scheme have also allowed the association to turn a dream of the last twenty years – to have its own offices – into reality. Premises have already been purchased. The challenge for 2023 will be to refurbish them.
