The NV300 is Nissan’s offering in the mid-size van segment. The ultra-modern NV300 combines attractive styling and aerodynamic efficiency with a generous, square load compartment that is ideal for carrying large amounts of cargo and for fitting racking and storage systems.
The interior of the NV300’s cargo compartment is quite rectangular in shape, which makes it ideal for installing the drawers, shelves and accessories needed to create an efficient travelling workshop.
The NV300 comes in two heights and two lengths offering load capacities of up to 8.6 cubic metres.
As with all vans, the inside of the NV300’s cargo compartment needs to be adequately protected. If the floor and walls are not properly lined, they are liable to sustain damage in the form of dents and scratches during normal use, eventually leading to costly bodywork repairs.
The vast Syncro catalogue offers a choice of
floor liners in marble-look or rubber-coated plywood and in aluminium tread plate,
wall liners in honeycomb plastic, aluminium or painted steel, wheel arch liners, bulkhead liners in plywood or aluminium and door liners too.
The low roof NV300 shown here is equipped with a resin-bonded plywood floor liner with a marble-look surface and bodywork liners in galvanised and painted steel. The racking system consists of shelves, drawers and transparent plastic containers.
The left and right racking configurations both start with floor-level compartments in which cargo can be secured by straps. Above these are
metal drawers with telescopic, ball-bearing runners, shelves with metal space dividers and a shelf of removable plastic containers.
The NV300’s bulkhead has been fitted with a series of metal cabinets containing tilting transparent containers, an extremely practical storage solution not only because they take up very little room but also because you can see immediately what’s inside.
These photos illustrate an NV300 racking solution with 36 cm deep racking on the left and, on the right,
cabinets of tilting transparent containers, one of Syncro System’s most popular products.
The left side racking stands on a floor-level compartment with a
lift-and-rotate door and a second open compartment for carrying tool cases. Above these are three trays containing six
steel component cases. Also on this side are a
plain shelf with a door, three shelves that can be configured with aluminium space dividers and a full-length top tray with a door at the back, for carrying long objects like pipes and cable channels.
The right of the van is equipped with a series of metal cabinets containing tilting transparent containers, one of Syncro’s most practical and popular products. These containers are made from PMMA, the same material used to make aircraft windows and, because they are completely transparent, they let you see instantly what’s inside.
This solution is complemented by various useful accessories, including a
plastic water can for washing hands, a paper roll holder, a silicone cartridge rack and a spray can rack. A number of
milled aluminium bars are also fitted to the van’s bodywork and to the racking, to securing cargo with straps.
As you can imagine, the Syncro catalogue also contains a wide range of solutions for the roof of the NV300. The range includes roof racks with rear rollers and side fences, roof bars with load stops, and ladder racks with damped-action or pivoting slides for one or two ladders. All types of Syncro roof rack are made from stainless steel and aluminium for strength and low weight. They are also particularly silent when then vehicle is travelling, thanks to Syncro’s exclusive, aerodynamically shaped Ultrasilent profile.
