Racking, liners, and accessories for the Ford Connect

Syncro System has everything you need for your 2013 model year Connect. The Ford Connect is a small van in the multispace segment. It is sold as a panel van and as a people carrier. Depending on how it is equipped, the Connect can satisfy a wide range of needs. It offers good road holding and a generous load capacity thanks to a stylish and aerodynamic yet highly functional design. First introduced in 2003, the Connect was radically updated in 2013. Though the name remained unchanged, the 2013 version was effectively a completely new vehicle. Ford has put a great deal of effort into reducing the Connect’s running costs. The latest series therefore boasts low fuel consumption, good reliability and low maintenance costs while still being extremely spacious and pleasant to drive. The Courier, Transit, Custom and Connect make up the hand that Ford is playing in its drive to conquer the global market for commercial vehicles, and form a range that is both complete and convincing in every way.

FLOOR LINERS AND INTERIOR LINERS FOR THE NEW CONNECT

The 2013 Connect suffers from the all-too-usual problem of a poorly protected load compartment. If cargo strikes the bodywork while the van is moving or during loading and unloading operations, it can easily damage the body panels or floor, leading to corrosion and, sooner or later, costly repairs. Knowing this, Syncro System supplies interior protection for the Connect too. The impressive Syncro range includes floor liners in 12 mm thick resin-bonded plywood or aluminium tread plate, bulkhead liners again in plywood or aluminium, and bodywork protection in galvanised and painted steel, aluminium or lightweight plastic.

CUSTOMISED RACKING SOLUTIONS FOR THE CONNECT

Syncro System boasts a vast range of racking products, cabinets, components and accessories for your 2013 Connect. The racking in the van seen here is just one possible solution. It features a marble-look plywood floor liner and, on the left side, a floor-level compartment with a strap for securing the user’s tool cases. Further up is a pull-out vice bench with a 100 mm, rotating base steel vice. Over this are four metal drawers on telescopic, ball-bearing runners, with automatic locking mechanisms and internal space dividers. At the top, the racking finishes with two large shelves, also with metal space dividers.

UNDERFLOOR DRAWERS FOR THE 2013 CONNECT

Here’s another racking system in a Ford Connect This solution includes three large underfloor drawers, covered by a raised floor in marble-look plywood. The plywood floor supports a small racking system comprising a case transport compartment, 3 trays for component cases and two shelves. Cabinets of tilting transparent containers are installed on the left and right walls of the van, a tray for long objects is fitted at the top of the bulkhead, and aluminium bar and strap cargo retaining systems are found on all three walls. The racking as such is complemented by a paper roll holder, a spray can rack and a compact but powerful LED ceiling light.

ROOF BARS AND ROOF RACKS FOR THE 2013 CONNECT

The Syncro range includes a number of solutions for carrying cargo on the roof of your Connect. These photos show a system consisting of three aluminium cross-bars with the Ultrasilent profile and strips of rubber on top, stainless-steel fittings and triangular load stops also in stainless steel. The special shape of these aluminium cross-bars guarantees impressively silent travel. Learn more about Syncro’s roof racks and interior liners for the 2103
