Syncro System expands its photovoltaic installation

Three years after it was put into service, the rooftop photovoltaic system of Syncro System’s new factory has been expanded by 52 solar panels. The new panels have been installed on the previously unused roof of the company’s office block, which stands alongside the main factory building in Via Portile, San Zeno di Cassola in the northern Italian province of Vicenza. The 52 new panels produce 400 Wp each and therefore add an extra 20.8 kWp to the system’s total output, bringing it to over 320 kWp. The original system, installed on the Syncro System factory roof in 2016, consisted of 556 Viessmann photovoltaic panels. Another 504 were added in 2018. The installation of an additional 52 panels in 2021 takes the total number of panels in the system to 1112. As a result, estimated power output will grow again this year. The 330,000 kWh produced until now was already sufficient to cover half the factory’s annual electrical energy demand and avoid the emission of 120 tons of CO2 equivalent a year. This latest development confirms Syncro System’s commitment to reducing its environmental footprint as part of continuous improvement in all areas.
