Like other Nissan models, the NV200 is made in Barcelona. The van boasts a modern design and a very low floor for its class, only 524 mm off the ground.
The cargo compartment is large and square, with 1.22 metres of free space between the wheel arches.
The van’s overall dimensions are 4.4 m in length, 1.69 m in width and 1.86 m in height.
With 4.2 m3 of useful cargo capacity, the NV200 therefore offers a good volume to size ratio.
The model comes with one side door as standard equipment. Two side doors are available on request.
The amazingly modular design of Syncro racking makes it possible to exploit all available space in the van by fitting 1.5 metres of racking on the full wall and 1 metre of racking on the wall with the side door.
In addition to shelves and drawers, the Syncro catalogue also contains floor and bodywork liners, roof racks and ladder racks for the NV200, along with a vast range of accessories like hooks, straps, lights, handwash kits, first aid kits, fire extinguisher brackets, computer stands, loading ramps and work benches with vices.
This racking solution covers both sides of the Nissan NV200.
On the left, the Syncro team installed a set of shelves and one drawer with internal space dividers over a large floor-level compartment destined to transport the customer’s tool cases. The racking on the right of the van consists entirely of cabinets of
transparent plastic containers. A vertical cabinet of similar containers is attached to the rear of the left side racking.
The amount of free space in the centre of the van, the result of installing compact racking elements on both sides, is well worth noting.
The first step in transforming this NV200 into a small but efficient mobile workshop consisted of protecting its interior. The Syncro team began by fitting a floor liner in 12 mm thick birch plywood with a marble-look resin surface, metal edging and recessed cups for the original anchor rings, then installed a complete set of aluminium alloy wall and door liners.
The racking on the left consists of a floor-level compartment with a
full-access, lift-and-rotate door, two
shelves with back panels, non-slip mats and internal space dividers and, at the top, another
shelf with nine removable plastic containers.
On the right, we have a floor-level compartment with a door, a
pull-out vice bench with a rotating vice, four
steel drawers with ball-bearing runners, and another shelf at the top.
To make the van even more functional, the team also added a
handwash kit comprising a paper roll holder, a plastic water can with a tap and a soap dispenser, a first aid case, an aluminium bar with a lashing strap, and a compact but
powerful LED ceiling light to illuminate the interior.
Syncro’s
underfloor drawers provide generous storage capacity without reducing available floor space. The drawers themselves have a load capacity of 140 kg, while the raised floor can resist a load of up to 800 kg.
This means that the raised floor can be used to install shelves, drawers and accessories or left free to carry cargo, as in the case with the NV200 seen here.
Syncro System produces a complete range of
floor and
interior liners for the NV200.
The range includes floor liners in marine grade plywood with a marble-look resin or rubber-coated surface, floor liners in aluminium tread plate, wall liners in painted steel, various types of aluminium and honeycomb plastic, bulkhead liners in plywood or aluminium and door liners too.
The Syncro System catalogue contains everything you could possibly need to carry material and equipment on the roof of your NV200:
roof bars, roof racks, and ladder racks.
Syncro’s modular roof rack system is made entirely from aluminium and stainless steel and can be configured to meet your needs. All types of Syncro roof rack feature the exclusive ULTRASILENT ridged profile that minimises drag, noise and vibration on the road and consequently improves the economy and comfort of your Nissan NV200.
Syncro roof racks can also be used to support verandas and awnings for the NV200.
