Racking has been installed on both sides of the van while the bulkhead has been used only for cargo carrying accessories. Additional carrying capacity has been created by installing a roof rack. Let’s take a closer look, starting as always with the liners fitted to protect the bodywork against dents and spillages.
Syncro liners for the Jumpy
It is no coincidence that every van transformation starts with the installation of liners in the cargo compartment! Syncro liners play an essential role in achieving three main objectives:
- to avoid damage to the van’s internal bodywork caused by constant wear from dirty shoes and by falling equipment and material
- to provide solid anchorage for racking and accessories
- to stop rust corroding the metal panelling and stop water penetrating plywood and wood, leading to costly repairs or even irreparable damage
This Jumpy has been equipped with a marble-look plywood floor liner with steel edge profiles and with a bumper footplate and step cover in aluminium. These important details serve the double purpose of reinforcing surfaces exposed to continuous stress and keeping moisture out, preventing damage to the liner and to the sheet metal floor beneath. The choice of liner material for the walls and doors fell on steel panelling. It was decided to leave the bulkhead bare.

Open and enclosed shelves on the left of the Jumpy
On the left of the Jumpy we can see:
- a floor-level compartment with a lift-and-rotate door, (a Syncro patent) that pivots down to provide unrestricted access
- a second floor-level compartment with a shuttle-type case transport kit capable of securely holding cases of different sizes
- three shelves with lift-up doors
- four configurable shelves with raised rear panels to stop objects falling down behind the racking, non-slip mats and interior dividers
- a full-length top tray for long objects
Transparent containers on the right of the Jumpy
On the right of the Jumpy we have:
- a floor-level compartment with a front panel at the bottom
- two configurable shelves
- two rows of Multibox pull-out transparent containers and one row of tilting (but still removable) transparent drawers at the top These practical containers are made from PMMA, an extremely tough material that resists cracking and does not turn yellow over time. Storing small parts and spares in a transparent container drastically reduces the risk of not seeing when something is running out. It also saves you time searching for parts and saves you money otherwise spent on repurchasing items you cannot find!
How accessories can improve the functionality of your van

This Jumpy for a construction company has been fitted with two metal pockets on the rear-facing side panel of the left-side racking, a first aid kit, installed in the same position on the other side, and a Syncroblock bar with two cable holders – the only addition made to the bulkhead.

The firm that owns this van decided to make the most of the roof too. The Jumpy is fitted with a Syncro roof rack complete with a loading roller, side fences and cross bars with an Ultrasilent rubber profile under the first bar. In turn, the roof rack is fitted with a ladder slide. Thanks to descent damping and lifting assistance, even the heaviest and bulkiest ladders can be loaded and unloaded effortlessly!
