Take a large van and imagine a racking system that makes the most of available space, leaves much of the cargo compartment free for bulky loads, and provides a large number of containers for storing tools, spare parts and fasteners in perfect order and with instant access.
Syncro has designed and installed thousands of such racking systems and one can be seen on this page. The van in question is a Citroen Jumper L2 H2 and the solution – for a plumbing business – features racking on the right side and bulkhead, leaving the left side completely unobstructed.
Let’s take a look at the equipment installed, starting with the liners.
We never tire of repeating it... Protecting the interior of your van with custom-made floor liners and panelling is essential if you want to extend its life and avoid unnecessary expense in the long term.
Without proper liners, the thin sheet metal of your van’s bodywork will soon suffer damage and dents as the result of normal loading and unloading operations. And dents and scratches are an open invitation to rust.
How can you prevent this? It’s simple. Just talk to the experts at Syncro about a custom-made lining system.
The Jumper seen on this page is fitted with a plywood floor liner with a marble-look surface and stainless-steel edge profiles, and steel panelling for the walls and doors. The cover over the left wheel arch is made from a combination of plywood and steel sheet.
The van’s owner asked Syncro to leave part of the Jumper’s cargo compartment free to transport bulky materials and equipment without impeding freedom of movement inside the van. That’s why the left of this Jumper has been left completely free of racking. This, however, doesn’t mean that nothing has been done to it. On the contrary, the left side has been equipped to carry and secure cargo in an effective manner. How?
1. First of all, the entire side was 100% lined, from floor to roof, including the wheel arch.
2. It was then equipped with two Syncroblock bars, the first about half way up, for use with hook and strap lashing systems and the second at the top of the wall, equipped with two movable telescopic hooks and a cable holder.
Do you want to keep everything in perfect order? Syncro has plenty of solutions for in-van storage.
This plumber’s Jumper is equipped with:
The second equipped wall in this Jumper is the bulkhead. Here, the bottom compartment of the racking is fitted with a strap-type case transport kit. Above this are four metal drawers with non-slip mats and internal dividers along with five of Syncro’s patented case trays. On top are two configurable shelves, equipped with bottom mats and space dividers just like the drawers.
Functionality is key for working on the go. Everything must be chosen to make your job easier and more efficient!
This goal is easy to achieve by adding the right accessories to your racking system. This Jumper has the following:
