The Citroen Jumper is a popular best-seller produced jointly by Fiat and Peugeot as well as Citroen. It is available in a number of versions of different length and height. The series introduced in 2006 features an impressively square and generous load compartment that is ideal for installing Syncro System racking and equipment.
The photos on this page show that the fold-away vice bench is a particularly popular accessory for this van. Other much-appreciated accessories for transforming your Jumper into a fully equipped mobile workshop include the paper roll holder, fire extinguisher bracket and cable holder.
The first thing the Syncro team did in this van was install a
floor liner in 12 mm thick resin-bonded birch plywood to serve the dual purpose of protecting the floor against possible damage and creating a perfectly flat surface. The racking on the left starts with two floor-level compartments. Above these are three
steel drawers on ball-bearing runners, three
shelves with internal space dividers, an open shelf with adapters for cases and finally, six
removable plastic containers. On the right of the van is another floor-level compartment then, further up, a
pull-out bench with a 125 mm vice, a large shelf with a door, two trays with four cases with transparent lids, another shelf with space dividers and more polypropylene containers.
The racking on the bulkhead starts with an open floor-level compartment, above which we can see a series of
cabinets with transparent containers in PMMA, the amazingly tough material used to make aircraft and submarine windows.
The van is also equipped with a series of useful accessories: a
cargo retaining bar with rails, an
LED ceiling light, a first air case, spray can racks, and an
aluminium bar with cargo lashing straps.
The Jumper’s cargo compartment is spacious enough to hold a complete mobile workshop.
In the van shown here, the Syncro team began by protecting the floor with a
marble-look liner in 12 mm thick plywood and protecting the walls and doors with
painted steel panels.
The racking on the left comprises three floor-level compartments, two of which are equipped to carry cases, two trays with four
component cases, twenty-eight removable polypropylene containers, five
steel drawers on ball-bearing runners, three shelves with internal space dividers and a full-length top tray with a rear door for carrying long objects.
On the right are two floor-level compartments, one of which has a
lift-and-rotate door, a
work bench in 24 mm plywood and three cabinets of
tilting transparent containers, one of Syncro’s best-selling products.
This racking system is made even more functional by the addition of a fold-away bench with a steel vice, three powerful LED ceiling lights, a fire extinguisher bracket, a paper roll holder, a silicone cartridge rack, a cable holder and two
aluminium bars with cargo retaining straps.
Very often, van owners use their vehicles not only to carry their tools and equipment but to transport goods and materials too. In cases like these, racking can be confined to just one side of the van, leaving the rest of the floor free for cargo.
This is an example of a Jumper with racking only on the left. The right wall and the bulkhead have been fitted only with aluminium bar and strap systems for securing bulky items.
One of the top priorities for any van owner must be to protect their vehicle’s bodywork. Van manufacturers provide little or no protection and it is all too easy to damage your van’s body during loading, transport, or unloading operations. To satisfy this need, Syncro supplies and fits
floor liners in marble-look or rubber-coated plywood or in aluminium tread plate, and
bodywork liners in steel or aluminium sheet or honeycomb plastic, as well as wheel arch covers, window grilles and other accessories.
There is never enough space in your van! That’s why so many van users need to load materials on the roof too. Syncro System produces and installs a wide range of
roof bars, roof racks and ladder racks for the Jumper.
The Syncro catalogue includes a vast range of products for preparing your Jumper to carry cargo or to serve as a mobile workshop. Our range includes accessories for easy loading, such as
ramps and platforms in different dimensions and variants.
This Jumper is equipped with a plywood floor liner with a non-slip surface, painted steel wall liners, wheel arch liners in plywood and steel, and an aluminium loading ramp with a capacity of 600 kg.
