Are van liners really necessary?
Yes, absolutely! Just imagine what can happen without proper liners... You’ve just bought a brand-new van and you’re loading heavy equipment, maybe with sharp edges. Suddenly, it slips and slams into the floor. Your nice new floor now has a dent in it. In only a few months cracks will appear in the paintwork, allowing moisture in and giving rise to your number one enemy: rust.
Yet, it only takes a small investment to prevent this worst-case scenario from ever becoming reality. All you need to do is fit liners, at least on the floor, to create a physical barrier not only against falling objects but against water infiltration too.

The solution to this requirement can be seen on the left of the van where two cabinets of long drawers have been stacked one on top of the other to face the rear doors.
All seven drawers are mounted on ball-bearing runners that allow them to open to their full length. They are also fitted with an opening travel stop, an automatic latching mechanism, non-slip mat and internal space dividers. These 70-cm-long drawers are opened simply by lifting the handle recessed in the front panel.
The innermost section of the wall is equipped with two configurable shelves and, at floor level, a case compartment with a lashing strap. A full-length top tray with rear access extends over both columns of racking and provides storage for long objects.
Plenty of space on right of the Doblò
To leave space for all eventualities in the centre of the Doblò, the right of the van has been equipped only with a Multibox cabinet of eight pull-out transparent containers. These can nevertheless be divided into smaller compartments using internal dividers. The cabinet is particularly compact and leaves the rest of the wall and the floor underneath completely clear.
