Choosing a fully customised van racking solution brings endless benefits, and one of the most important of these is safety. Robust liners and secure storage systems protect your vehicle’s bodywork and the equipment and materials you carry with you. A properly equipped van reduces the risk of damage during transport and prevents accidents caused by moving objects! And let’s not forget the perfect order that only a time-and-money-saving racking solution can give you.
The van seen in these photos is a 2016 model year Fiat Talento L2 H1 owned by a company that supplies high-tech systems and especially equipment for the production and use of renewable energy.
Syncro System’s solution for this customer concentrates all the racking on the van’s bulkhead. In addition to providing a series of accessories, Syncro also took particular care over this van’s interior liners. Let’s take a closer look!
The interior of this Fiat Talento has been almost completely covered over to protect the bodywork and give the van’s users a clean and safe working environment. The floor is protected by a marble-look plywood floor liner. This product is exceptionally strong thanks to a structure formed by wood sheets (plies) glued together with special moisture-resistant adhesives. The marble-look surface offers an excellent grip and is easy to clean too. Liquid-proof steel cups and edge profiles protect the vehicle’s original anchor rings and the exposed edges of the liner panels.
The walls and the upper sections of the doors are covered in steel panelling. This extra-strong material is ideal for a cargo compartment like this, where most surfaces are unprotected by racking and therefore exposed to knocks and dents.
The Syncro storage elements and accessories on the bulkhead are arranged to facilitate the customer’s daily work. The racking is configured as follows:
Concentrating the racking at the front of the vehicle means, first and foremost, maximising the space available in the cargo compartment. This makes the van more versatile and permits the transport of large and awkwardly shaped objects like solar panels. The racking on the bottom bulkhead can also be accessed easily through the sliding side door if the van is full inside. An almost-empty cargo compartment also makes cleaning particularly easy, improving the image of professionalism conveyed to customers.
While the right of the van has been left completely free, the left is equipped with two highly functional accessories.
At the top, supported by robust brackets, is a full-length top tray with fold-down access at the van’s back doors. This kind of shelf is ideal for transporting long objects like pipes and cable channels and items can be placed and removed easily from any point. Two cable holders are fixed to the side wall beneath the top tray.
Accessories of this type can be positioned anywhere in the van to suit the requirements of efficiency and order. The ones in this Talento are located exactly where the customer wanted them! On the left rear door, a section of Syncroblock bar with two universal clamps has been added to secure a folding ladder with the aid of a lashing strap and ring attachments.
On the side panel of the bulkhead racking is a cleaning station in the form of a handwash kit with water tank and tap and a paper roll holder above it.
The racking seen in this van is just one of an endless list of excellent customised solutions designed and installed by Syncro System, who have specialised exclusively in van racking since 1996 and fitted out over 100,000 vans since then!
