Opel Vivaro for electrical and electronics contractors

VIVARO, THE MID-SIZE PANEL VAN FROM OPEL

The Vivaro from the German auto manufacturer Opel is a medium-sized commercial vehicle that finds an ideal balance between lots of cargo space, defined by boxy lines, an appealing sleek look, comfort, and optimal aerodynamics. The van showcased on this page was converted for a company that carries out installation and maintenance of industrial and private electrical systems.

A VIVARO CONVERSION SOLUTION FOR THE INSTALLATION OF ELECTRICAL SYSTEMS

The Syncro team first put down a resin-coated marine plywood floor panel, complete with anti-slip steel borders and recessed anchorage cups for tying down cargo. The floor panel creates a perfectly flat loading floor, protects the original van flooring, and provides a solid base for mounting the racking units. The marine plywood has exceptional characteristics - it's lightweight, resistant, water-proof, and adds years to life of your van floor. The left-hand racking consists of a shelving unit wheel arch frame at the base with Syncro patented rotational hinge system door panel that allows for wide-open access to the storage compartment. Along the base, a second compartment has been created for the storage of tool and organizer cases. Thanks to a automatic blocking shuttle and strap, cases are quickly secured for safe transport. Moving up the unit, we see two large metal drawers equipped with telescoping slides, rubber mats, internal metal dividers, individual automatic locking mechanisms built into the recessed handles. Completing the left-hand side, are four large shelves, also complete with rubber mats and aluminum dividers. Dominating the right-hand side racking solution is one of the Syncro System flagship pieces: the metal drawer units with forward-tilting clear plastic drawers. PMMA is an extraordinary plastic material. It does not yellow over the years, it is more transparent and resistant than glass, non-toxic, and does not react with hydrocarbons and chemicals found commonly in everyday products. Just to give you and idea....it is the same material used for airplane windows! The drawers were designed without protruding parts and each drawer is equipped with an automatic locking mechanism built into the handle. Larger drawers also come with internal aluminum dividers. The clear plastic makes it easy to identify each drawer's contents without having to open them, even though opening and closing are fast and easy. The minimal width of the whole unit means you leave nearly the whole cargo bay free for loading material and equipment. Completing the base on the right-hand side is a small closed compartment for quick convenient storage. To take advantage of the Vivaro's roof space, we mounted a steel and aluminum Ultrasilent4 roof rack. Just as the name suggests, it guarantees minimal noise and vibration while on the road. It has rubber uppers along all the crossbars and side rails as well as the rear rolling bar, that makes it easy to load and unload cargo. Let's take a look at the accessories – making work more efficient and pleasant. Along the bulkhead, we fixed the long item storage kit which includes an aluminum track and strap or fast secure storage of materials like rods, poles, industrial drill bits. On the end panel (facing the rear doors) there is a second long item storage kit, a 230 mm paper towel roll holder, and a first aid kit – always right in reach. The company can now use their transformed Vivaro for the installation and maintenance of electrical systems, with a conversion solution perfect for storing and transporting an extensive amount of tools, spare parts, materials, equipment, while still leaving lots of free space in the cargo area.
