Are all Syncro racking systems really different? Yes, because our commitment to customer satisfaction is total.
Whatever model of van you bring to us, and whatever job you use it for, we place all our expertise and materials at our disposal to satisfy your requests and give you the perfect racking solution for your own needs.
Our racking configurations are different even when two people who do the same job come to us with identical vans!
On this page we can see a Renault Trafic L1 H1 fitted out for a plumber. This is a scenario we have seen many times, but this racking configuration, as always, is unique and specifically made for this customer.
So let’s take a closer look!
The owner of this Trafic chose to install racking on both sides while leaving plenty of room in the centre of the loadspace to allow easy movement. The bulkhead is equipped with accessories for securing cargo and materials.
Though not visible in these photos, the customer also asked us to install a four cross-bar roof rack and to fix an aluminium ladder to one of the rear doors for easy access to the roof.
Even what may seem like a fairly standard product like an interior lining panel can be customised. The floor of this Trafic L1 H1 is covered with a marble-look plywood liner with steel edge profiles and anchor ring cups in stainless steel. Syncro used the same material to cover the bulkhead too, giving the cargo compartment a pleasantly unified look. We even made a door in the bottom right of the bulkhead lining to transport objects like pipes, conduits, metal profiles, etc., which would otherwise be too long to fit inside the van. With this door open, particularly long items can be inserted through the bulkhead into the space under the front seats.
The wheel arches too have been enclosed by marble-look plywood side panels and an aluminised steel surrounds.
The walls and top part of the doors are lined with painted steel panels.
The racking of the left of this plumber’s Trafic combines some of the most popular elements with Syncro customers:
Between two of the racking levels, Syncro has inserted a pull-out vice bench consisting of a plywood board with steel reinforcement. This protrudes only a few centimetres from the side of the racking when not in use but forms an effective, stable work surface once extended from its housing.
Syncro vice benches can serve as useful work tops even in small vans, when space is limited!
The dominant feature of the right wall of this Trafic is transparency! The racking on this side of the van starts with a floor-level compartment with a fully-opening, patented door.
The rest of the wall is occupied by a series of MultiBox cabinets with 32 pull-out transparent containers.
The advantages of this choice?
1. The containers are made from PMMA, a highly transparent material that is also extremely strong and does not turn yellow.
2. Being able to see the contents of each container saves valuable time when searching for a specific part.
3. Running out of essential parts becomes highly unlikely as an empty container is easy to spot and even easier to refill!
