The photos on this page show a Peugeot Boxer that Syncro System fitted out as a mobile workshop for a body repair shop, to allow repairs and maintenance work to be performed away from base. This L2H2 Boxer has racking on both sides and also boasts a series of useful accessories for cargo retaining, cleaning and internal and external lighting.
Before starting the job of installing the racking and accessories, the Syncro team first protected the bodywork of the Boxer as follows:
The left side of this Peugeot Boxer is laid out as a storage area for tools, small parts and spares. The area around the wheel arch has been transformed into a secure storage space thanks to the addition of a bar with hooks, lashing straps and sliding fittings. Above this are three configurable shelves with non-slip mats and metal dividers. Further up again is a cabinet of pull-out transparent containers and on top of this is a full-length top tray. The area near the bulkhead is enclosed at the top by a shelf, but is otherwise empty, making it the ideal location for the van’s 6 KVA, 870 l/min compressor-generator combo with compressed air tank.
The right side is the Boxer’s work area. The compartment around the wheel arch can be used to carry tools or materials. At mid-height we have two rows of metal drawers supporting a marble-look plywood work top with raised rear edge. A rotating vice is installed on this. The bench is brightly lit by an LED light fitted to the underside of the cabinet of tilting transparent containers located at the top of the racking.
The functionality of the body repair shop’s Peugeot Boxer is enhanced by a series of accessories:
