Satisfying every need expressed by customers is not always easy, but it’s what Syncro System does best. Once the solution to this puzzle starts to emerge during the initial consultation, the picture can be completed in a very short space of time. By the time the van is handed back to the customer, Syncro’s racking technicians have fine-tuned all the details and found the perfect combination of racking and accessories to ensure total customer satisfaction!
The van presented on this page is a Volkswagen Transporter L1 H1 owned by a company that installs and services air filtration systems.
The van was first fitted with interior liners, then racking was installed only on the bulkhead and a selection of accessories and equipment essential for the type of work involved was added as a final step. Let’s take a closer look.
Protecting the interior of your van is a must, as it allows the vehicle to withstand intensive daily use.
Having said this, the choice of what liners to install depends on various factors: the way you intend to use the cargo compartment, the type of cargo and equipment you plan to carry, and which surfaces are going to be covered by racking and which left unprotected.
Nearly every surface In this Transporter has been protected! The only part not covered by a liner is the bulkhead, and this is completely hidden by racking. The floor is protected by a plywood floor liner with a marble-look finish while the walls, roof and the exposed parts of the doors are protected by steel panelling. Even the wheel arches have been covered in using steel top profiles and aluminium side panels. The result is a van that looks attractive and tidy, is easy to clean and resists intensive wear and tear throughout!
The racking in this Volkswagen Transporter is concentrated at the bulkhead, leaving the side walls clear!
The system is configured as follows:
Both side walls of this Transporter for an air filtration service have been left completely free except for cargo retaining accessories.
A milled bar has been installed along the left side wall. Used in conjunction with a heavy-duty lashing strap and the top of the wheel arch liner, this allows the van to carry a portable WM ramp.
A ramp is an indispensable piece of equipment for avoiding injury and unnecessary fatigue when heavy machinery or equipment has to be loaded and unloaded daily. Syncro supplies and installs a wide selection of ramps, all made in Italy by WM. Ask your dealer for more information!
The accessories installed in this VW Transporter L1 H1 do not finish with the ramp.
Cargo retention: In addition to the lashing system described above, the Syncro team also installed a second section of milled bar with hooks and strap along the middle of the right-side wall. In addition, two lengths of milled rail with Airline profiles and lashing straps have been fixed vertically to the rear-facing surface of the bulkhead racking and a large metal storage pocket has been added near the side door.
Cleaning: The van also boasts a paper roll holder, one of the best-sellers of the Syncro accessory range.
Lighting: Two LED tube lights under the roof ensure uniform interior lighting.
Now you can see how a well-designed racking system and carefully chosen accessories can transform even a small van.
