With Syncro System you can fit out any van in any way you want. You can install racking on all three sides or just on one. And you can install accessories alone or add them to complement your racking configuration. Everything is possible thanks to the amazing flexibility of Syncro products.
The van on this page is a Ford Custom L2H1 that Syncro fitted out for an electrician. The two sides have been left completely free of racking and used only to install a few essential accessories. The racking is confined to the bulkhead but occupies the entire surface. This configuration leaves almost the entire cargo compartment free for carrying equipment and materials, with all the convenience of unrestricted access through the rear doors. This choice was partly dictated by the absence of side doors in this particular version of the Custom.
The racking you select for your van can also influence your choice of liners. The decision is always based on discussions between the customer and Syncro System’s expert installers, but the chosen liners must be able to protect the van’s interior, support the racking and accessories and enhance the looks and cleanliness of the cargo compartment.
The floor of this Custom is covered by a tailor-made, plywood floor liner with a marble-look surface. In addition to protecting the floor panels underneath against wear and damp, this type of liner provides a robust, walkable surface thanks to the presence of spacers in all the channels of the original floor. The walls and doors are protected by custom-made panels in painted steel, a material strong enough to support the racking and accessories without having to drill holes in the original bodywork.
How much of the space in your van can you actually use? This might seem a strange question, but if you stop to think about it, you will realise that:
The racking in this electrician’s Custom is confined to the bulkhead. The configuration consists of a floor-level compartment with a shuttle-type case compartment, four metal drawers with internal space dividers and three configurable shelves at the top. The floor-level case compartment is particularly practical as it can hold both metal and plastic cases of various shapes and sizes. The first case rests against an end place inside the right side panel while the last is pressed into place by a mobile shuttle with an adjuster knob.
Once a van has been lined and fitted with racking, the customer can get together with Syncro’s technical staff to choose whatever accessories might prove useful.
