On this page we present a Syncro racking system in a
Toyota Proace owned by a plumber.
If these images give you ideas for your own racking system, carry on reading for more details. If instead you want to see other racking solutions for the Proace,
start looking here. Our website contains a large number of racking systems specially designed for plumbers. Here are just a few:
Ducato,
NV200,
Vivaro,
Caddy, Berlingo…
All good racking systems start with liners, which can be fitted only on the floor or on all interior surfaces, depending on your requirements. In this van, the floor has been protected by a marble-look
plywood floor liner while the walls and doors are covered by
painted steel panels. On request, the Syncro team can also protect your van’s bulkhead, wheel arches and even roof.

Metal drawers and
configurable shelves form the basis of this Proace racking system for a plumber. Four drawers are installed on the left, and another four on the right. All Syncro drawers have release buttons hidden inside the plastic handle on the front panel. When the drawers are closed, they automatically lock shut to prevent accidental opening when the vehicle is moving. Syncro drawers also come with a machine-washable non-slip mat inside.
The shelves in this van are all configurable and come with non-slip mats and metal dividers for creating separate compartments for different items. Floor-level compartments may be open, like those on the left of this van, or fully/partly enclosed by
doors, like that on the right.
One of the floor-level compartments on the left is fitted with a
case shuttle kit comprising a metal bar at the top and a ratchet-action shuttle underneath. Cases of any size and shape can be pressed against the end plate and held firmly in place by sliding the shuttle into contact with the free side. The system is beautifully quick and easy to use and perfectly secure too: cases are held firmly in place until released for use!
The bulkhead of this plumber’s Toyota Proace is fitted with two slider bars, one at the top and one at the bottom.
The lower bar is equipped with a highly versatile
system of hooks and straps that can be used to secure loads of all shapes and sizes.
The bar at the top is equipped with a set of
sliding, telescopic hooks held in place by a screw at the front. These useful accessories can be extended to various lengths between 90 and 140 mm.
Fixed hooks are found on the racking side panels at the back of the van, four on the left and two on the right. These hooks can also be adjusted in length to cover a wide range of uses.
